With a professional qualification of MD, Gynaecology and Obstetrics in 1991, she has her own full fledged department at her hospital. She is well equipped with numerous other skills in which she has undergone special training, namely USG training at Wadia Institute, Mumbai; Tubal recannalisation under the renowned Prof. Kalaichalavi at Indian Institute of family planning, Chennai; Basic endoscopy training at Coimbatore; Calposcopy under renowned oncosurgeon Dr. Basu at Kolkatta.
Prof. Dr. Shobhaa Bembalgi is a teaching faculty at KIMS, Hubli since 1998 and is also an Unit Head. Her area of interest is Calposcopy and she has been instrumental in conducting many Cervical cancer screening camps. She has to her credit 6 publications in international journals.

She has a department of Gynaecology and Obstretrics at Shivakrupa hospital where she has an OPD setup, well equipped labour rooms, Operation theatre, endoscopy and Calposcopy facilities, antenatal and postnatal screening and therapeutic facilities, painless labour and a well equipped ICU with 24 hrs Intensivist coverage to handle obstetric emergencies.

About Dr. Subhash Bembalgi_{M.D Pathology}

A Pathologist by profession, completed his MBBS at JNMC, Belgaum and MD,DCP from JJMC, Davengere. His line of work includes a teaching experience at JJMC, Davengere for 3years and on hand working experience under Dr. Ramprasad, Anand Diagnostics, Bangalore. He established Shruti Diagnostic Laboratory at Bembalgi Complex in which Shivakrupa Hospital and ICU is housed in 1989. Over the years, the laboratory has come to be one of the finest, well equipped with latest advanced tools of investigations. These facilities are available round the clock.

He is a person with sound knowledge and updated information in fields of economy, politics and science. He is the Secretary at R.B. Patil Cancer Hospital, Navanagar, Hubli and also the Honorary Director at Hubli Scan Centre, Hubli.

AboutDr. Veena Bembalgi_{PGDHM, MPT, Ph.D}

A physiotherapist by profession completed her post graduation (MPT) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore and PhD from KLE University, Belgaum. She is also trained in Hospital Management, having done her PG Diploma in Hospital Management from Pune University.Her working experience includes Clinical Physiotherapy at Sancheti Institute of Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation, Pune for 3 years in the OPD as well as Arthroplasty unit under renowned orthopaedic surgeon Dr. K. H. Sancheti. She has 10 yrs of teaching experience at Institute of Physiotherapy, JNMC Belgaum and KLES College of Physiotherapy, Hubli. Her last working position was as a Principal at KLES College of Physiotherapy, Hubli.

Her PhD work was based on Biofeedback for Psychosomatic disorders which is her main area of interest. She has to her credit 2 publications in international journals and 2 in Indian journals. Physiotherapy is applicable in prevention of health disorders, therapeutic measures in health issues and also in promotion of health. “Prevention is better than cure.” This statement is true for majority of the cases which require medical and surgical attention. Physiotherapy plays a significant role in this area of health. In other conditions where treatment /intervention is required, Physiotherapy contributes to improving the quality of life. Promotion of health is another area which is gaining great momentum these days and Physiotherapy has a major role to play in this field of health.

She presently runs a well equipped Physiotherapy department at Shivakrupa Hospital and ICU. The department caters to Neurological, Orthopaedic, Paediatric, Antenatal and Postnatal Physiotherapy, Gynaecological, Sports injury cases requiring physiotherapy. Apart from these the department also caters to Weight reduction and Management programs and offers counselling for Diabetic and Hypertensive patients.
Apart from professional life she leads an active social life too. She is a member of Ladies Circle India which is an NGO working for the education for the underprivileged.

Managing Partner, Shivakrupa Hospital and ICU and an Anaesthesiologist and Intensivist, Dr. Anilkumar Bembalgi has completed his MD, Anaesthesia from JNMC, Belgaum. He has undergone formal training as an Intensivist to handle ICU emergencies at Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital, Pune.

He has working experience as an Associate Professor at SNMC, Bagalkot. He is responsible for upgrading the hospital with the latest amenities. His main domain is Neuro-ICU care and he along with his team provide round the clock Intensivist services at the hospital. He keeps abreast of latest advances in his field by attending conferences and workshops regularly.

He is a Director , NMR Scan Centre, Hubli.
